I offer occupational therapy support for both minor and major home modifications to help Home Care Package (HCP) clients remain safe and independent in their homes. All home modification services begin with an initial in-home assessment, which typically takes up to 1.5 hours and is charged at my standard hourly rate of $193.99, billed in 15-minute increments. During this visit, I assess the home environment, identify risks or barriers to function, and provide professional recommendations tailored to your goals and safety needs.

For existing clients only (who have previously completed a Functional Capacity Assessment with me)

This service includes up to 6 hours of non-face-to-face time, dedicated to preparing a detailed and up-to-date report for NDIS plan reviews. It involves reviewing previous assessments, gathering current progress data, interpreting therapy outcomes, and liaising with families, support coordinators, and other health professionals involved in the participant’s care. The report outlines functional changes, therapy outcomes, and professional recommendations to inform future NDIS planning. All time is billed at $193.99 per hour, with transparency around any additional time required.

For minor modifications—such as the installation of grab rails, handheld showers, step modifications, or threshold ramps—I generally provide written recommendations directly to your case manager, the builder or supplier. These are considered low-risk, low-cost adjustments, and follow-up is usually minimal.

Travel is billed separately from therapy and report writing services and is calculated based on the total time spent travelling to and from your appointment location.

Travel is charged in 15-minute increments at the standard hourly rate of $193.99 per hour, regardless of the service type. This ensures fairness and transparency, especially for clients located in regional or remote areas.

For major modifications—such as bathroom alterations, custom ramps, stair lifts, or access restructuring—I prepare a detailed clinical justification and work with your care manager to obtain supplier quotes. This may involve liaising with builders or home modification services, reviewing plans, and ensuring the proposed changes meet functional needs and safety standards. Additional time required for documentation and coordination will be billed at the standard hourly rate, and any further on-site or planning visits will be discussed and approved in advance with your case manager.

This service includes up to 60 minutes of therapist time to administer the selected assessment, complete scoring, and document the outcomes in a concise summary. These assessments are used to gather further information to support goal setting, clinical reasoning, or formal reporting, depending on the client's needs.
